Wayne Community College to host Trunk-or-Treat event

GOLDSBORO — Celebrate the Halloween season on Wayne Community College’s campus with an evening of candy and costumes. WCC’s inaugural Trunk-or-Treat will take place on Thursday, Oct. 26 from 6–8 p.m. It is free and open to the public.

WCC faculty and staff will hand out candy to trunk-or-treaters. Bags for the candy will also be provided.

The trunks will be set up in the south parking lot immediately behind the Wayne Learning Center, which is the building with flags in front, on the College’s main campus in Goldsboro.

Event parking will be available in the large parking lot in front of the College immediately off of Wayne Memorial Drive. Traffic and parking directions are provided on WCC’s website, and WCC’s campus police will be on site throughout the evening.

“As part of our 65th anniversary, we are thrilled to host our first ever Trunk-or-Treat this year for our community,” said WCC’s Vice President of Academic and Student Services Brandon Jenkins. “We are actively making plans for this evening and look forward to seeing all of the children and their families in their Halloween costumes.”
