Wayne County announces Independence Day schedule

WAYNE COUNTY — Wayne County government has announced its closing schedule for Independence Day, Tuesday, July 4.

County government offices will be closed Tuesday, July 4. Offices will re-open Wednesday, July 5 for regular business hours.

All branches of the Wayne County Public Library will be closed Tuesday, July 4. Library branches will be re-open on Wednesday, July 5 for regular business hours.

The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will close at 5 p.m. on Monday, July 3. The Senior Center will re-open on Wednesday, July 5 for regular business hours.

The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed Tuesday, July 4. The landfill and convenience centers will re-open Wednesday, July 5 for regular business hours.

The Wayne County Animal Shelter will be closed Tuesday, July 4. The Animal Shelter will re-open Wednesday, July 5 for regular business hours.
