Spring Creek baseball team drops two

SEVEN SPRINGS — The Spring Creek baseball team lost to Kinston 12-5 at home March 31 and 31-21 to Goldsboro on the road March 30.

Against Goldsboro, Rylan Kornegay had three hits, three runs, two RBI and was hit by a pitch; Orrin Tickles had two hits, three runs, four RBI and was hit by a pitch; Maddox Edwards had two hits, two runs, one RBI and was hit by a pitch; Jackson Lewis had one hit, three runs, two RBI, one stolen base and three walks; Harrison Sutton had one hit, four runs, three RBI, three stolen bases and was hit by a pitch three times; Rusty Kornegay had one hit, three runs, three RBI, one stolen base, two walks and was hit by a pitch; Justin Raifford had one hit, one run, one RBI and one walk; Eric Gonzalez had one hit, two runs, one RBI, two walks and was hit by a pitch and Gabriel Lopez had one walk.

Sutton, Rylan Kornegay, Rusty Kornegay and Lopez pitched for the Gators.
