Southern Wayne softball team beaten

BENSON — The Southern Wayne softball team lost 13-1 on the road at West Johnston March 31.

Laura Summerlin had one hit, Morgan Brimberry had one hit, Reagan Stribble had one hit, one run scored and two stolen bases and Gracie Hinson had one hit and one RBI.

Stribble pitched four innings for Southern Wayne. The game was stopped by run rule.

The Saints are 6-6 overall and 4-2 in conference play.
