Southern Wayne boys defeat West Johnston

DUDLEY — The Southern Wayne boys’ basketball team defeated West Johnston 67-52 Jan. 26.

Eli Boykins led the Saints with 19 points and 12 rebounds, Chris Carmon had 13 points, nine rebounds and two assists; Donivan Armwood and Dylan Armwood each had nine points, Duntae Wright had seven, Dylan Tindall had four, O’Shay Faison had three and Tyquavious Williams had two.

Southern Wayne improved to 9-9 overall and 6-3 in conference play.
