SW girls win over West Johnston

DUDLEY — The Southern Wayne girls’ basketball team defeated West Johnston 47-28 on Jan. 26.

Jamaiya Bass had 23 points and eight rebounds, Nygeria Thompson had eight points and nine rebounds, Ta’Niyah Glaspie had six points, 12 rebounds and six assists and Kyren Strong had four points.

The Saints improved to 14-5 overall and 8-2 in conference play.
