UNC Health Wayne to hold emergency preparedness drill

GOLDSBORO — On Nov. 9 at approximately 8:45 a.m., UNC Health Wayne will be conducting a drill of emergency preparedness.

This drill will involve several organizations within the community and will include Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, Wayne County law enforcement and Wayne County EMS. The drill is expected to last one hour and will simulate a potential disaster for our community.

It is important to note that care will still be accessible to the community as this simulation is performed. Patients are encouraged to keep appointments on Nov. 9 and to seek medical attention when necessary.
