The Wayne County Development Alliance (WCDA) announced recently that T. A. Loving Company was the 2023 recipient of the Wayne County “Industry of the Year” award.
The announcement was made at the WCDA annual Industry Appreciation Reception at Walnut Creek Country Club. The reception also recognizes Wayne County industries for their milestones/years of service and continued efforts in economic growth in Wayne County.
“Our company has called Wayne County home for 98 years, and our work has taken us to no less than eleven states,” said Sam Hunter, Chairman of T. A. Loving Company. “Building for the people of Wayne County and having T. A. Loving Company and the construction industry recognized locally for those contributions is an honor we’re extremely proud of. We’re thrilled to be able to continue to contribute to the economic expansion and success of Wayne County. On behalf of our greatest asset — our 400 employees — thank you to the Wayne County Development Alliance for the Industry of The Year Award.”
“T. A. That is a testament to the efforts of those interested in seeing Wayne County and North Carolina continue to prosper, including our partners in other local industries, local government, the Wayne County Economic Development Alliance, and our state representatives.”
“T. A. Loving Company provides complete pre-construction and construction services for various industries, including healthcare, athletics, higher education, K-12 education, and utilities,” said Julie Graham, Wayne County Existing Industry Director. “This is very important for Economic Development in Wayne County and the Region. They are dedicated to their customers and strive to exceed expectations. T. A. Loving is involved in many areas of our community. Civic clubs, charities– they have been an excellent corporate citizen for years, and they do these things, not for recognition, but because of who they are.”
“Our existing industries are the heartbeat of economic development,” added Mark Pope, President NCGTP Economic Development Region. “They create jobs and investment and are rooted in our local communities. T. A. Loving is a great example of a locally owned company that values a family environment for employees and dedication to the work they provide. T. A.
