Southern Wayne girls’ soccer team drops two
DUDLEY — The Southern Wayne girls’ soccer team dropped two home conference matches, losing 7-0 to West Johnston May 3 and 2-0 to Smithfield-Selma May 2.
Against West Johnston, Allya Segura, Ky’mara Stokes, Ana Morales-Gonzalez and Aracely Perez-Barrera all had shots on goal.
Against Smithfield-Selma, Anette Castillo-Vilchis and Kely Barrios each had two shots on goal and Jayda Harrell and Morales-Gonzalez each had one.
The Saints are 5-10-1 overall and 2-9 in conference matches.
