North Duplin routs Hobbton

CALYPSO — The North Duplin softball team won a home conference game over Hobbton 22-1 on May 1.

Addy Higginbotham had three hits, three runs, one RBI and one stolen base; Kasey Jones had three hits (including a home run), three runs and three RBI; Lilly Fulghum had three hits, four runs, two RBI and one stolen base; Reece Outlaw had two hits, three runs, three RBI and three stolen bases; Riley Hatch had two hits, two runs, one RBI and one walk; Sara Thomas Tucker had two hits, three runs and one walk; M’chelle Jaco had two hits, two runs and one stolen base; Ady Spence had one hit, one run and one RBI and Melany Sanchez had one hit and one run.

Spence pitched four innings for the win. The game was halted after four innings by the run rule.

The Rebels are 15-2 overall and 8-0 in conference games.
