North Duplin rolls past Hobbton

NEWTON GROVE — The North Duplin softball team won an away conference game at Hobbton 20-0 April 4.

Reece Outlaw had five hits, including a home run, four runs and three RBI; Lilly Fulghum had four hits, one run and two RBI; M’Chelle Jaco had four hits, four runs and three RBI; Addy Higginbotham had three hits, three runs, two RBI and two stolen bases; Kasey Jones had three hits, two runs and one RBI; Ady Spence had three hits, two runs and two RBI; Iala Overton had two hits, one run and one RBI; Riley Hatch had two hits, two runs and two RBI and Sara Thomas Tucker had one hit, one run and one RBI.

Spence was the winning pitcher with a five-inning complete game.

The Rebels are 11-2 overall and 4-0 overall.
