Southern Wayne loses at North Lenoir

LAGRANGE — The Southern Wayne baseball team lost 14-8 at North Lenoir April 10 in a non-conference game.

Drew Sweet had two hits, two RBI and two walks; Cuyler Daly had one hit, two runs and one walk; Alex Ferrell had one hit, one run, one walk, one stolen base and was hit by a pitch; Ella’ Boykin had one hit, one run and one walk; Hayden Waller had one hit, two runs, one RBI, one walk and one stolen base; Zach Aman had one run and one walk, Jake Coates had one run and two walks and Brayden McKee had one RBI and one walk.

Sweet pitched 5 1/3 innings and McKee and Waller each pitched 1/3 inning.

The Saints are now 9-5 overall and 4-4 in conference play.
