North Duplin blasts Faith Christian

CALYPSO — The North Duplin baseball team defeated Faith Christian 16-0 April 10 in a non-conference matchup.

Tanner Kornegay had two hits, one run, two RBI and a stolen base; Richard Noble had one hit, one run and one RBI; Hunt Pate had one hit, one run, one RBI and one walk; Brady Byrd had one hit, two runs, one walk and one stolen base; Garris Warren had one hit, two runs, one RBI, one walk and three stolen bases; Kayden Bowden had one run, one RBI and was hit by a pitch; Esteban Santos-Clark had one hit, one run, two RBI and was hit by a pitch; Dante Sabeniteze had one hit and one run, Austin Duff had two runs, two RBI, three walks and one stolen base; Wesley Holmes had two runs, one RBI and two walks; Vance Carter had one RBI, one stolen base and was hit by a pitch; Tyler Johnsey had one run, one RBI and was hit by a pitch and Thomas Moorsiey had one run.

Noble pitched a five-inning complete game. He allowed one hit and struck out 11.

The Rebels are 13-2 overall and 5-0 in conference play.
