Spring Creek drops game at Eastern Wayne

GOLDSBORO — The Spring Creek baseball team lost 3-2 at Eastern Wayne March 23.

Harrison Sutton had two hits, one RBI, one walk and four stolen bases; Jackson Lewis had one hit, one run scored and one RBI; Maddox Edwards had one hit and was hit by a pitch, Justin Raifford had one run scored and reached on an error twice and Gabriel Lopez was hit by a pitch twice.

Sutton pitched six innings, allowing five hits, walking one and striking out three.

The Gators are 0-5 and 0-2 in conference play.
