SW softball team defeats Hunt

DUDLEY — The Southern Wayne softball team defeated Hunt 12-7 March 17.

Laura Summerlin had three hits, three RBI, two runs scored and two stolen bases; Gracie Hinson had three hits, two RBI and one run scored; Megan Long had two hits, two RBI, two runs scored and was hit by a pitch; Reagan Stribble had two hits, one run scored and one stolen base; Kylie Barwick had one hit and two runs scored, Morgan Brinberry had one hit, one RBI and one run scored; Jocelin Aguilar had one hit, one RBI and one runs cored and Jocelyn Bond had one run scored, one walk and one stolen base.

Stribble was the winning pitcher, going seven innings, walking one and striking out two.

The Saints are 4-4 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
