Southern Wayne tennis team loses close match

SMITHFIELD — The Southern Wayne boys’ tennis team lost 5-4 to Smithfield-Selma March 13.

Winners for the Saints were Aaron Whiting at No. 2 singles, Evin Williams at No. 5 singles, Matthew Blizzard at No. 6 singles and Blizzard and Hudson Hulet at No. 3 doubles.
