Reeves competes in 200m at championships

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – University of Mount Olive senior Jaylin Reeves competed in the preliminaries of the 200 meters at the NCAA Indoor National Championships on March 10.

Reeves finished fourth in her heat and 18th overall in the preliminaries with a time of 25.06 seconds. The top times from each heat, plus the following three best times, advanced to the finals.

Junior Denisha Cartwright of Minnesota State-Mankato recorded the fastest mark in the preliminaries on Friday with a time of 23.50 seconds, which was her personal best performance.
