North Duplin girls advance in state playoffs

CALYPSO — The North Duplin girls’ basketball team advanced to the fourth round of the state playoffs with a 59-51 win over Voyager in the second found Feb. 23 and a 62-54 win over Perquimans in the third round Feb. 25.

No individual statistics were available. The Rebels advance to play at Falls Lake in the fourth round. North Duplin is now 24-1.
