Duplin high school students learn about career opportunities at UMO

The Tillman School of Business at University of Mount Olive recently coordinated with the Curriculum Technical Education program at Duplin County Schools to hold an on-campus event. Approximately 100 students visited the University’s flight school and attended a lecture presented by Tillman School of Business faculty discussing different business disciplines. They also toured campus, ate lunch in the dining hall, and got to experience a bit of college life. The event provided students an opportunity to hear about different career paths such as aerospace, cybersecurity, applied computer science, finance, marketing, accounting and management.
