Mount Olive’s AgFest event to highlight career, scholarship opportunities in agriculture

Over 2,500 high school students, advisors, vendors, and volunteers from the mountains to the coast, as well as some from SC and VA, are expected to attend the University of Mount Olive’s Ag Fest event on Tuesday, March 21.. Exhibitors will be on hand to talk with students about farm-related services and technologies including precision ag, livestock management, forestry, conservation, crop production, greenhouse management and much, much more.  There will be live music throughout the day along with food sponsors and food trucks.
This will be the largest event that the University has hosted to promote agriculture awareness in eastern North Carolina and beyond.
