Wayne County announces Memorial Day schedule

WAYNE COUNTY — Wayne County has announced its closing schedule for Memorial Day.

County government offices will be closed Monday, May 29. Offices will re-open Tuesday, May 30 for normal business hours.

All branches of the Wayne County Public Library will be closed Monday. Library branches will re-open on Tuesday for normal business hours.

The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed Monday. The senior center will re-open Tuesday for normal business hours.

The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed Monday. The landfill and convenience centers will re-open Tuesday for normal business hours.

The Wayne County Animal Shelter will be closed Monday. The animal shelter will re-open Tuesday for normal business hours.
