Southern Wayne defeats South Johnston

FOUR OAKS — The Southern Wayne girls’ soccer team defeated South Johnston in an away conference match 3-0 May 11.

Kely Barrios scored two goals and Ana Morales scored one. Barrios had eight shots on goal and Allya Segura, Ky’mora Stokes, Anette Castillo-Vilchis and Aracely Perez-Barrera all had three shots on goal.

Amya Smith had 10 saves in goal.

The Saints finished the season with a 6-12-1 overall record and a 3-11 record in conference matches.
