Southern Wayne wins over Fike

DUDLEY — The Southern Wayne softball team defeated Fike 15-7 in a home conference game May 5.

Mckenzie Strickland had three hits, two runs, three RBI and one stolen base; Laura Summerlin had two hits, three runs and two walks; Megan Long had two hits, two runs and one stolen base; Gracie Hinson had two hits, two runs, three RBI, two walks and two stolen bases; Morgan Brimberry had one hit, two runs, one RBI and two stolen bases; Reagan Stribble had one hit and two RBI, Riley Hood had one hit, one run, two RBI and one walk; Kylie Barwick had one run, one RBI, one walk and two stolen bases and Avery Jennette had two runs, one RBI, one walk and one stolen base.

Stribble was the winning pitcher with a complete game.

The Saints are 10-10 overall and 8-6 in conference games.
