North Duplin rolls past Hobbton

CALYPSO — The North Duplin baseball team defeated Hobbton in a home conference game 12-3 May 1.

Richard Noble had four hits, two runs, three RBI and one stolen base; Tanner Kornegay had two hits, one run, two RBI, one walk and two stolen bases; Wesley Holmes had two hits, two runs, one walk and two stolen bases; Tyler Johnsey had two hits, two runs, one RBI, one walk and five stolen bases; Hunt Pate had one hit, two runs, one walk and two stolen bases; Brady Byrd had one hit, one run and one walk; Esteban Santos-Clark had one hit, two RBI and one walk; Austin Duff had three walks and one stolen base, Branden Reyna had one run and two stolen bases and Garris Warren had one run, one walk and two stolen bases.

Noble was the winning pitcher, hurling four innings. Johnsey pitched one inning and Santos-Clark worked two innings.

The Rebels are 18-3 overall and 9-1 in conference games.
