Southern Wayne defeats Hunt

WILSON — The Southern Wayne baseball team won a road conference game at Hunt April 25 by a 6-3 score.

Cuyler Daly had one hit and one run, Drew Sweet had one hit and two RBI, Tyler Odom had one hit and one run, Brayden McKee had one hit, one run and one walk; Hayden Waller had one hit, one run, one RBI and one walk; Alex Ferrell had three walks, Zach Aman had one run and one stolen base, Dylan Daniels had one walk and James Graham had one run.

Odom was the winning pitcher, working six innings. Waller pitched one inning.

The Saints are 13-5 overall and 7-4 in conference games.
