North Duplin suffers first conference loss

GOLDSBORO — The North Duplin baseball team took its first conference loss of the season April 25, losing an away game to Rosewood 5-0.

Tanner Kornegay, Richard Noble, Hunt Pate and Esteban Santos-Clark each had one hit.

Eric Rosas pitched 5 2/3 innings and Noble pitched 1/3 inning.

The Rebels are 17-3 overall and 8-1 in conference games.
