North Duplin routs Rosewood

GOLDSBORO — The North Duplin softball team defeated Rosewood 18-0 April 25 in a road conference game.

Addy Higginbotham had three hits, three runs and four RBI; Kasey Jones had three hits (including a home run), two runs, two RBI and one walk; Ady Spence had three hits, one run and two RBI; Reece Outlaw had two hits, three runs, two RBI, two stolen bases and was hit by a pitch; Dana Santibaneez had two hits, three runs and was hit by a pitch; Riley Hatch had one hit, one run and one walk; Lilly Fulghum had one hit (a home run), two runs, two RBI and three walks; M’chelle Jaco had one hit, one run, one stolen base and was hit by a pitch twice and Sara Thomas Tucker had two runs and one walk.

Fulghum pitched four innings and Spence one.

The Rebels are 14-2 overall and 7-0 in conference games.
