Hunt blanks Southern Wayne

WILSON — The Southern Wayne girls’ soccer team lost 9-0 in a road conference match at Hunt April 25.

Ana Morales-Gonzalez, Anette Castillo-Vilchis and Aracely Perez-Barrera all had five steals. Karen Flores-Gonzales had the Saints’ only shot on goal. Amya Smith had 17 saves in goal and Morales-Gonzalez had two.

Southern Wayne is 5-8-1 overall and 2-7 in conference matches.
