North Duplin rolls past Neuse Charter

SMITHFIELD — The North Duplin baseball team defeated Neuse Charter 12-1 in a road conference game April 6.

Garris Warren had three hits, three runs, one RBI and one walk; Austin Duff had two hits including a home run, one run, three RBI and one walk; Hunt Pate had two hits, two runs, one walk and one stolen base; Esteban Santos-Clark had two hits, three RBI and one walk; Richard Noble had one hit which was a home run, two runs and two RBI; Branden Reyna had two runs and two stolen bases; Tanner Kornegay had one run, one walk and one stolen base; Tyler Johnsey had one run and three walks, Wesley Holmes had one walk and Brady Byrd was hit by a pitch.

Eric Rosas pitched a six-inning complete game. He allowed one hit and struck out 14.

The Rebels are 12-2 overall and 5-0 in conference play.
