Southern Wayne wins over Spring Creek

SEVEN SPRINGS — The Southern Wayne boys’ tennis team defeated Spring Creek 7-2 April 5 in a non-conference match played at Spring Creek.

The Saints took all six singles points. Aaron Whiting won at No. 1, Hudson Hulet at No. 2, Matthew Blizzard at No. 3 and Cameren Jones at No. 4. Southern Wayne won at No. 5 and No. 6 by forfeit.

In doubles, Dante Lamphere and Nate Slye won at No. 1 for Spring Creek and J.P. Alexander and Brady Papst won at No. 2 for Spring Creek. Southern Wayne won at No. 3 by forfeit.

Southern Wayne is 2-12 overall and 1-11 in conference play. Spring Creek is 2-7 overall and 2-6 in conference play.
