North Duplin wins against Hobbton

NEWTON GROVE — The North Duplin baseball team defeated Hobbton in a conference road game April 4 by a 4-1 score.

Hunt Pate had two hits, one RBI and one stolen base; Brady Byrd had one hit, one run, one RBI and one stolen base; Branden Reyna had one run, Tanner Kornegay had one run and one walk, Wesley Holmes had one run, Austin Duff had three walks and Esteban Santos-Clark had one walk.

Richard Noble pitched six innings for the win and had nine strikeouts. Eric Rosas pitched one inning.

The Rebels are 11-2 overall and 4-0 in conference play.
