Spring Creek softball team loses at Eastern Wayne

GOLDSBORO — The Spring Creek softball team lost 3-0 at Eastern Wayne March 23.

Sarah Hess had the Gators’ only hit and also stole two bases. Emily Williams pitched six innings, allowing four hits, striking out five and walking none. All the runs scored by Eastern Wayne were unearned.

Spring Creek is 5-2 overall and 0-2 in conference play.
