Heide Trask shuts out North Duplin

CALYPSO — The North Duplin baseball team was shut out 3-0 by Heide Trask March 17.

Austin Duff, Brady Byrd and Wesley Holmes each had one hit for the Rebels. Garris Warren and Esteban Santos-Clark each drew a walk and Hunt Pate was hit by a pitch.

Eric Rosas pitched 6 2/3 innings, walking one and striking out nine. Tyler Johnsey pitched 2/3 of an inning, walking one and striking out one.

The Rebels dropped to 6-1 on the season and have not yet begun conference play.
