North Duplin rolls past Lejeune

CAMP LEJEUNE — The North Duplin baseball team took a 23-6 win over Lejeune on the road March 15. The Rebels stole a whopping 21 bases.

Hunt Pate had three hits, three RBI, two runs scored and three stolen bases; Richard Noble had two hits, one RBI, two runs scored and three stolen bases; Garris Warren had two hits, two RBI, four runs scored, one walk and five stolen bases; Branden Reyna had one hit which was a home run, two RBI, two runs scored and one stolen base; Austin Duff had one hit, two runs scored, one walk and two stolen bases; Brady Byrd had one hit, one RBI, two runs scored, one walk and one stolen base; Wesley Holmes had one hit, two runs scored and two stolen bases; Billy McCoy had one hit, two RBI and one run scored; Esteban Santos-Clark had one hit, three RBI, two runs scored and one walk; Dante Sabeniteze had one hit and one RBI, Tyler Johnsey had one run scored, three walks and two stolen bases, Thomas Moorsiey had three runs scored, three walks and three stolen bases and Vance Carter had one stolen base.

Johnsey was the winning pitcher. Kayden Bowden, McCoy and Santos-Clark also took the mound for the Rebels.

North Duplin is 6-0 on the season and has not yet begun conference play.
