Southern Wayne baseball defeats Goldsboro

GOLDSBORO — The Southern Wayne baseball team defeated Goldsboro 15-5 March 9.

Cuyler Daly had three hits, six RBI and a run scored; Drew Sweet had two hits, three RBI, a run scored and a walk; Zach Aman had one hit, one run and one walk; Tyler Odom had one hit, three runs scored and two walks; Alex Ferrell had one hit, three runs scored, one walk and one stolen base; Jake Coates had one hit and three RBI, Tyler McKee had one run and one walk, Ella’ Boykin had one run scored, Dylan Daniels had one run and one stolen base and Hayden Walker had three runs scored, three walks and one stolen base.

Odom, Ferrell and Brayden McKee all pitched for Southern Wayne. The Saints improved to 5-0.
