Spring Creek softball wins opener

SEVEN SPRINGS — The Spring Creek softball team won its opener March 1 by defeating Hobbton 12-2.

Sarah Hess had three hits, five RBI and three stolen bases, Jasmine Valentine had three hits and two RBI, Mattie Staps had two hits and one RBI,  Nhayiris Gadea-Savilla had one hit, one RBI and one stolen base, Annmarie Howard had one hit and one stolen base and Angela Billarreal had one hit.

Emily Williams pitched a complete game for the win.
