WCC to hold event for eighth graders

GOLDSBORO — Wayne Community College will hold an event for eighth-grade students and their parents or guardians.

“Middle School Night: Eighth Grade Edition” is set for 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 16. The event will allow participants to explore careers and the college’s academic programs through personalized campus tours and hands-on activities. Parents and guardians will also learn about the resources that are available to make WCC affordable and their students successful.

Those who wish to take part in the event are encouraged to reserve their spot by March 14 by going to www.waynecc.edu/msnight.
