Southern Wayne girls defeat Fike
The Southern Wayne girls’ basketball team defeated Fike 61-51 Feb. 17 in a conference tournament matchup.
Neveah Hines-Bass had 20 points and three assists, Ta’niyah Glaspie had 13 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals; Nygeria Thompson had 11 points, Jamaiya Bass had 10 points and three assists and Elaina Lane had six points.
The SW girls improved to 19-7.
