United Way needs volunteers for Special Olympics basketball

MOUNT OLIVE — The Special Olympics basketball games are Jan. 18-19, and United Way of Wayne County needs volunteers for various roles.

Volunteers are needed from 8:30 a.m. until noon. Those with medical, nursing or emergency medical technician skills are especially needed. To register as a volunteer, please go to specialolympicsnorthcarolina.volunteerlocal.com.
