Wayne County announces Veteran’s Day closings

WAYNE COUNTY – Wayne County has announced several schedule changes for Veteran’s Day.

County of Wayne government offices will be closed Friday, Nov. 11. Offices will re-open Monday, Nov. 14 for normal business hours.

All branches of the Wayne County Public Library will be closed Nov. 11. Library branches will be open on Nov. 12 for normal business hours. The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed Nov. 11. The senior center will be open Nov. 14 for normal business hours.

The Wayne County Animal Shelter will be closed Nov. 11-12. The animal shelter will be open Nov. 14 for normal business hours. The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed Nov. 11. The landfill and convenience centers will be open Nov. 12 for normal business hours.
